WILSON!!!!!

Today we did a lot of math. Seriously, it was lots of math. Yesterday we had a midterm, and today we bounced back with not one but two lectures of new material. Some were more excited about said material than others; here we see Prof. Berliner and his contagious enthusiasm, which afflicted several students but somehow completely missed a few others. (Ok, most)

Our own personal math hype man, Prof. Berliner
It's fine. It's fine. Everything's fine.

Among the new math we learned today was Wilson's Theorem (hence the title of this post), which states that (p-1)! is congruent to -1(mod p). Any time we have factorials, things get exciting, so this made the afternoon all the better. We also learned Fermat's Little Theorem, or FLT (not to be confused with Fermat's Last Theorem, which is a bit...different).

After class, a group of us went to get chimney cakes, which if you haven't already heard, are the best form of sliced bread since sliced bread. The place we went to featured ice cream on the inside, making an already delicious creation all the better.

Due to the double class today, we have double the homework, so we must sign off and pretend to be productive. (Unless this is Prof. Berliner reading, in which case, I use sarcasm a lot.)

Also, if anyone has seen Bruce Hanson, let Derek and Hunter know. He was missing from the sauna today.
