Professor's Corner

Hello!  First, I want to thank everyone back home (and perhaps around the world) following the students' adventures here in Budapest.  They're an amazing group of young adults, and I've really enjoyed getting to know each and every one of them.  We've spent a lot of time together already, giving me the opportunity to see the highs and lows & ups and downs of their daily lives much more acutely than on campus.

Most of the students are currently on the 2 1/2 train ride to Vienna, where they will spend 1-2 free days taking in the sights and enjoying a little time away from Budapest.  They pledge to continue to blog, but please be patient as the blog posts may not be as timely as usual.

We have a special treat in store for you on Monday, as our class has been asked to do an "Instagram Takeover," so we will be in charge of the St. Olaf College Instagram account for the entire day.  You will find MANY more photos than usual there on Monday.  I also have a special surprise event planned for Monday morning (different from last year's surprise so the former students can't ruin anything), so it's been fun to lord that over the class the last 2 1/2 weeks.

Back to midterm exam grading for me, I'm afraid.

"Best from Pest"

Adam
